Is Kundalini Reiki For You?
The History
In the 1990s, the Danish healer Ole Gabrielsen developed Kundalini Reiki. He spent many hours in Holy Communion with Kuthumi, an Ascended Master who is now part of the Spiritual Hierarchy.
Master Kuthumi aligns with the Crown Chakra, fostering love, wisdom, and understanding. Above all, he comes to those who seek world knowledge in this time of change for the greater good.
Kundalini Reiki may be the simplest healing and self-development system on the planet! By opening and strengthening the energy channels of the body, anyone can channel healing energy through pure intention.
I hold sincere gratitude to Mr. Gabrielsen and Master Kuthumi for unlocking this blessing. Why? I have had the privilege of using Kundalini Reiki for my own healing. Also, I’ve used it to facilitate miraculous transformations for my clients!
How does Kundalini Reiki differ from Usui Reiki?
Firstly, Usui Reiki channels universal life force energy from the cosmos, while Kundalini Reiki draws this energy from the center core of the Earth, making it renowned for its grounding healing properties.
Secondly, Usui Reiki channels a masculine energy (Shiva). Whereas Kundalini Reiki channels its feminine counterpart (Shakti).
Thirdly, Kundalini Reiki skips the use of symbols. Instead, it relies on intention and intuition.
Lastly, Kundalini Reiki works quicker with more intensity in 5-10 minutes. Usui Reiki averages 45-90 minutes per treatment.
How is Kundalini Reiki similar to Usui Reiki?
The similarities between the two modalities are as follows:
- Both modalities are accessible to individuals irrespective of their spiritual, religious, or philosophical beliefs.
- They harness organic, unconditional loving life force energy from distinct sources to alleviate blockages and restore the immune system to a state of balance.
- Flexibility is inherent in both, as practitioners can apply them either through in-person sessions or distant healing.
- Both forms extend their healing potential to individuals, places, animals, and all living entities, addressing concerns related to past, present, and future events.
- Both modalities require the healer’s connection to a pure source to effectively channel the healing energies.
Does Kundalini Reiki activate a Kundalini Awakening?
Now, let’s address a common question from my students…does Kundalini Reiki activate a Kundalini Awakening?
Not exactly. Receiving Kundalini Reiki healing doesn’t imply awakening your Kundalini; they are distinct experiences.
So, what is Kundalini Awakening?
It’s when your dormant Kundalini energy at your Root Chakra awakens, rising majestically through the body and out of the Crown Chakra.
In addition, an awakening, calms the ego, clears spiritual blockages, and realigns with the true self.
So, how is Kundalini Reiki different from a Kundalini Awakening?
First, Kundalini Reiki involves the opening of specific healing channels and chakras through a series of attunements.
Then, the Root Chakra acts as an entrance for the Earth’s energy, granting you access to its healing power.
Lastly, you receive a thorough cleansing of the chakras, body parts, and energy channels through the earth healing.
Kundalini Reiki can actually assist those who’ve undergone a Kundalini Awakening by alleviating aggressive symptoms that form from their Kundalini activating too quickly.
To sum this up, Kundalini Awakening is a form of intense activation, whereas Kundalini Reiki is a form of healing.
The Benefits of Kundalini Reiki
Most importantly, it promotes deep relaxation, stress reduction, and overall well-being. How? Through clearing chakras and releasing blockages in the body that create disease.
How do you know if you have a dense blockage? You can feel dense energetic blocks as emotional dis-ease or physical disease. In other words, you will notice your energy contracted or ill, versus expanded and healthy.

Kundalini Reiki gives your body’s natural healing powers permission to create miracles. However, it’s not a replacement for primary care. Always pay your primary physician a visit for any health concerns you may have.
Reiki and other alternative healing methods are meant to be used in conjunction with your primary doctor’s treatment plan.
Levels and Attunements
Kundalini Reiki operates in different levels and attunements. Below is an overview of the first 3 levels of Kundalini Reiki.
Level 1 – Healing self
- The Attunement enables the healer to channel the universal life force energy – equivalent to Usui Reiki Levels 1,2 and 3.
- All blocks in the chakras are removed (except for the Root Chakra) for preparation of Kundalini Reiki II.
- The Heart Chakra becomes widened & strengthened.
- The energy channel from the Palm Chakras to the Crown Chakra is opened so Kundalini Reiki can flow.
- The healer receives instruction on performing Kundalini Reiki self-treatments.
- The healer can heal thy self but may not heal others at this level.
Level 2 – healing others
- The Kundalini Reiki 1 Attunement is strengthened, and a full cleansing takes place.
- The central energy channel is widened and gently opened.
- The third eye is activated and widened.
- The Earth’s Kundalini Energy reaches the healer’s Solar Plexus Chakra, preparing for the full Kundalini rising in Kundalini Reiki 3.
- The healer receives a specific meditation which increases the kundalini energy and promotes enlightenment.
- If ready, the healer’s Kundalini is awakened with ease igniting their own Kundalini “fire”. This is where a gentle awakening begins – the kundalini energy starts to uncoil, rising from the Root Chakra to the Solar Plexus Chakra in preparation for the next level.
- The healer receives instruction on performing Kundalini Reiki on others.
- The healer can heal thy self and others at this level.
Level 3 – Master Level advanced teachings
- The Kundalini Reiki 1 and 2 Attunements are strengthened.
- The Throat, Solar Plexus, Sacral and Root Chakras are gently opened.
- The Earth’s Kundalini Energy reaches up and out of the Crown Chakra – full rising of the Kundalini takes place.
- If ready, the healer’s Kundalini “fire” rises through each chakra and out of the Crown Chakra, cleansing as it flows.
- The healer becomes a Kundalini Reiki Master and is able to teach and attune others to Kundalini Levels 1, 2 and 3.
- Master attunements enable the full practice of the Kundalini Reiki system – Diamond, Crystalline, DNA, Past Life, Birth Trauma, and Location Reiki.
Master Attunment
The Master Attunement tunes the healer’s energy to the following forms of advanced modalities:
- Diamond Reiki – during the attunement a diamond is placed on the Crown Chakra. As reiki flows through the diamond, the energy becomes stronger. It takes on the characteristics of the diamond – precious and strong. Once attuned to Diamond Reiki, the healer can channel this energy when giving a treatment.
- Crystalline Reiki – throughout life we suffer traumas. When individuals do not address these traumas, crystals form. These crystals hold the memory of the trauma in the body, which manifest as pain and disease. Crystalline Reiki can heal these traumas, and dissolve deep-rooted crystals.
- DNA Reiki – works on DNA strands. It heals negative genetics, such as inherited characteristics, illness, and disease.
- Past Life Reiki – heals negative karmic issues and influences from previous lives, before incarnation.
- Birth Trauma Reiki – heals any trauma endured while being birthed or giving birth. The body holds experiences like miscarriage, stillbirth, and near-death experiences. This form of reiki helps process these traumas in a gentle way.
- Location Reiki – works to heal attachments we have with a particular place, such as growing up in an unhappy household or place of worship. This can manifest as ill-health if left unprocessed.
Advanced Grand Master Levels
The next steps, known as “boosters,” progress the healer from Master to Grand Master upon completing the final level – level 10.
Levels 4, 5 and 6 involve three more attunements and further widen and strengthen the energy channels. Once completed, the healer’s reiki energy increases by 100%, and they gain the ability to attune others to these levels.
Levels 7, 8 and 9 also involve 3 more attunements and further widening and strengthening. Once completed, the healer’s reiki energy increases by 300%, and they gain the ability to attune others to these levels.
Once the above levels are completed and sufficient experience is gained, the next stage is level 10 –Kundalini Reiki Grand Master Teacher. Sufficient time should pass between levels in order for the energies to integrate and settle, thereby allowing a gentle acceptance of the changes that are taking place, for enlightenment and wisdom.
The guidelines vary between different healers, but generally a minimum of 5 days between the basic levels, 1-2 weeks between the advanced levels, and at least 3 months between levels 9 and 10.
This should be discussed with the Master prior to training and from level to level in order to decide the best way to proceed.
Treatment of Kundalini Reiki
Due to the potent nature of the energy, Kundalini healings typically last around 5-10 minutes. Yet, there is much to do before the energy flows.
The healer must properly Byosen Scan and Cord Cut any found attachments in the body. This is important before performing Kundalini Reiki.
If the healer does not cord cut, Reiki can bombard the system with too much light. You often see this manifest as the body shaking uncontrollably on the table. The trauma must come out before light can fill it and take its place.
Learning these techniques can be done through formal Kundalini Reiki Certification training. I open up enrollment once per year, you can join the waitlist here.
A Kundalini Reiki session can be conducted in person. Usually, the healer places hands on the recipient’s heart or shoulders and activates Kundalini Reiki.
Once this connection is established, the energy flows into the client’s system from 48 hours to 14 days, based on my experience.
For distant treatments the client and healer can meet through video conference. This is my favorite way to perform healings, personally.
It allows me to see my client face to face. This open communication harnesses deeper realizations, and cord cutting experiences. Not to mention, it creates the opportunity to help anyone in the world.
Another option is to place the client’s name or a photo between the healer’s hands. The healer then visualizes the client and activates reiki. The flow will stop, but the energy will continue to work within the client’s body for several days or even weeks. It’s as simple as that!
Is Kundalini Reiki For You?
